Yemen has condemned Thursday's terror attack that led to the killing of two policemen in the state of Teerat in western Algeria.
"Such terrorist attacks contradict all humanitarian, moral and religious values," said the Foreign Ministry in a statement of which Saba obtained a copy.
The Ministry renewed Yemen's rejection of violence and terrorism in all their forms and regardless of their motives and causes.
The Ministry called on the international community to stand united against such terror acts that target the innocent and disturb social peace.
The Ministry emphasized Yemen's stance to the side of Algeria in fighting terror elements and in taking any measures to preserve Algeria's security and stability.
The Ministry expressed deep condolences to the Algerian government and people wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
