The Yemen Network for Rights and Freedoms (YNFR) has documented the destruction of 1,232 homes and facilities by the Houthi militia, in 17 governorates across Yemen between September 2014 and March 1, 2025.

PM highlights importance of Shura Council's role

Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin-Daghr has highlighted the importance of the country's Shura Council's role in laying down and debating emergency visions and strategies, given new changes that may transpire on the political, military, security and service levels.

In a meeting with Shura member Yahya Abdullah Qahtan, the Prime Minister referred to the importance of the political and military changes in the country. He made a thankful mention of the help Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Yemen against the Iranian malicious interferences in Yemen.

The Premier cited the recent gains the army made against the rebel militias with help from the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Qahtan thanked the Premier and the President of the Republic for their attention to the needs of the army, popular resistance and especially to the soldiers wounded in the fight with the Saleh-Houthi militias.
