Governor gives President an account on impact of Taiz floodwater

The Governor of Taiz Ali Al-Maamari given President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi an account on the impact of the torrential rains and flood water that cascaded from Al-Abd steep mount and swept away people, vehicles and properties on its way in al-Maqatira valley of Taiz.
Answering a phone call from the President, Al-Maamari confirmed that a number of people were killed as the floodwater swept them away.
The President conveyed his condolences to the victims' relatives and called on the Governor to contact the Supreme Committee for Relief to get them deliver aid to all the afflicted.
The Governor also updated the President about the developments in the city including the outcomes of a security campaign launched round up wanted criminals and maintain law and order inside the city.
