The Supreme Court chief Hamoud al-Hitar has said that the prosecutions, appellate and primary courts of Aden have been sorting and setting schedules for all civil cases, administrative , penal, commercial and personal, to get them resolved.

Al-Hitar made the remarks after a tour in the courts of Aden to indicate the return of courts back to function in the temporary capital, Aden, after a long closure as a result of the war between the government and the Saleh-Houthi coup militias.

He said the courts will resolve urgent issues first and that cases brought to courts are already being processed. The courts and prosecutions are ready to receive lawsuits and claims, he added.

The Supreme Judiciary Council made a reshuffle in the Yemeni courts of all instances in a resolution issued late July 2017.
