The acting Yemeni Ambassador to Budapest Hamad Dahan on Thursday met her Secretary of State for Eastern Opening and Head of the Middle East and North Africa in the Hungarian Foreign and Trade Ministry Peter SZIjjarto, discussing bilateral relations, means of enhancing them and activation of official visits between both countries.
The Hungarian official was briefed on Yemen's updates, humanitarian situation, and openness of the legitimate government on all levels to reach a peaceful solution on the basis of the three terms of references; the GCC-brokered Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UNSC resolutions on Yemen.
The Hungarian official expressed his country's positions supporting the Yemeni government, affirming that a political solution is the best to end the Yemeni crisis.
