Yemen, Bahrain hold official talks in Manama

Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghar on Sunday held in Manama official talks with his Bahraini counterpart Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, discussing fraternal relations and how to enhance them.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Bahraini Prime Minister welcomed bin Daghar, reiterating Bahrain's firm positions supporting Yemen's legitimacy.

He said that the Arab region is witnessing conflicts due to the Iranian interventions, asserting that Kingdom of Bahrain will stay supporting the Yemeni people and its legitimate government.

He further said that Bahrain will support all stages of reconstructing Yemen, reiterating that Yemen will stay united and sovereign, and rejecting the Iranian interventions in the region.

For his part, bin Daghar expressed gratitude over the visit, highly valuing Bahrain's support to Yemen to restore the state and terminate the Houthi-Saleh coup.

He also lauded the participation of Bahrain in the Arab Coalition, pointing out that the Operation Decisive Storm represents a historical transformation in uniting the Arab countries and confronting the Iranian ambitions.

In the presence of a number of ministers and officials of both sides, the meeting discussed a number of issues concerning common interests, enhancement of cooperation and exchange of mutual visits.
