Miftah launches anti-cholera campaign

Deputy Governor of MarebAbdo-RaboMiftah launched on Saturday anti-cholera House to House Campaign and a training course for response teams on curing drinking water in cholera-suspected areas.

The campaign is carried out by Health Office and lasts for six days in the city and some houses.

Director of Health Office Abdulaziz al-Shaddadi made it clear that the campaign targets 31 thousand houses to be visited by 380 awareness team.

Meanwhile, the training course aims at providing trainees with knowledge and skills on awareness on cholera; symptoms and its prevention, and studying the environment in targeted areas, checking water and treating it with chlorine.
