Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi headed on Thursday to New York for attending a session for the Security Council on Yemen's extraordinary conditions.
The session will be assigned for discussing political and humanitarian situations in Yemen.
Al-Mikhlafi will deliver a speech in the council and will participate in a symposium organized by Yemen's Permanent Mission in the United Nations in coordination with Saudi Arabia delegation.
The symposium will be held on August 21 for discussing developments of political, legal and humanitarian situations in Yemen.
High ranking political figures from Yemen, Saudi Arabia and the United States will participate in the symposium.
