Aden University and WHO discuss cooperation in health education

The Rector of Aden University Alkhadher Lasoor met a mission from WHO's Middle East office and discussed cooperation between the international organization and the Yemeni university in health education.
The two sides addressed the development of academic function especially supporting the university's project of initiating a master degree program in health management and technical assistance to the library of the Administrative Sciences College in this respect.
The University intendeds to inaugurate the program as of the coming academic year so the talks centered on providing teaching staff.
The WHO mission emphasized the importance of this program calling for the creation of an executive matrix to be implemented and workshop to be held to discuss the master program and the academic rules and regulations and the effort to twin Aden University with the University of Leeds in the UK.
The WHO mission and Aden University staff toured the health management center and got briefed about the ongoing preparations of the health management specific classrooms and library.
