Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi on Tuesday met here the Arab ambassadors to Addis Ababato update them on recent developments in the Yemeni arena.
He said that the government accepted the proposal of the UN Envoy Esmail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on the surrender of Hodeida port, handing over revenues to the Central Bank of Yemen in Aden, affirming that the Houthi Saleh militias continue their intransigence and commit crimes against Yemeni civilians.
He stressed the importance of roles played by Arab ambassadors in this confrontation which targets the Arab national security, calling the ambassadors to cooperate and coordinate to consolidate Arab stances.
The minister also held a meeting with the Yemeni community, hearing their opinions, demands and complaints, promising to tackle them.
