Yemen's Foreign Ministry has denounced the Saleh-Houthi rebel militias' attack for the second straight time on the premises of the Sudanese embassy and residence of the ambassador in Sana'a.
In a statement of which Saba obtained a copy, the ministry said: "The coup militias' attack on the embassy of the Republic of Sudan for the second time in a row, looting of the mission's vehicles and tampering with the furniture underscore the militias' determination to commit the crime without minimum respect for diplomatic missions."
The ministry called these crimes a clear evidence of the coup militias' systematic violating attitude toward the laws and covenants, in addition to being a moral and ethical collapse on their part.
"These crimes won't affect the Yemeni relations with Sudan but will increase our determination to go ahead with restoring the state and law and security to the capital city and all parts of Yemen."
The criminals will not go unpunished, it said. The ministry called on the international community to denounce and stand against this barbaric and heinous attack.
