The Ministers Council discussed in its regular meeting on Wednesday tightening security, fighting terrorism and the process of reconstruction in Aden.
The ministers were reviewed on report from Minister of Interior on the terrorist attack took place yesterday at Juhain area, Abyan by a suicide attack carried out by al-Qaeda. Two soldiers were killed and five others were wounded.
The council praised the heroic deterrence by soldiers in the area for facing terrorist elements, confirming that the government, with support from the Arab Coalition is pursuing fight against terrorism and will follow up cracking down on elements.
It emphasized on partnership responsibility on local, regional and international levels to face terrorism that threatening all.
The report includes measures taken for security and stability in Aden and demolishing military appearances for keeping peace across the governorate.
The Cabinet discussed also process of kicking off reconstruction in Aden, where the first phase was launched yesterday to reconstruct damaged houses over Houthi-Saleh' war on the city.
The Cabinet approved rehabilitating fish Market Project in Aden with the cost of YR 443 million including maintenance of electricity and ice factories needed for the project. The market receives fishing boats from across the coastal governorates in the country with quantities of 7.5 thousand tons of fish annually.
It also ratified a tender for importing 1800 barrel of oil for Aden power corporation with the cost of USD 756000 and discussed replacing power plants generating by diesel into others generating by liquefied gas for reduction of the cost.
The ministers also were briefed on a report from the Vice Military Staff on military conditions across warfronts and victories the military forces achieve against Houthi-Saleh's rebel militias.
