PM inaugurates houses handover to Mocha people

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr inaugurated Sunday the second phase of handing over houses to people here. The project is financed by the UAE Red Crescent.

He handed over a number of houses to locals, whose houses were destroyed byHouthi-Saleh militias' war on the state and the people.

"These good acts will continue to be a source ofthank and will leave good impact inside all Yemenis for their brothers in the United Arab Emirates; government and people, who support and stand by our people during the most difficult conditions," said Prime Minister bin-Daghr, adding, they provided all support and contributed in normalizing conditions and providing services in Mocha and a number of governorates.

He added that they seek peace in accordance to the three peace references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UNSC's Resolution 2216.

"Our strife for peace is our quest for the stability of Yemen and with security and stability development is achieved."

He thanked leaderships of the countries making the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and valued huge efforts being exerted by the UAE Red Crescent in helping their brothers in Yemen to overcome suffering over the militias' barbaric war.

For his part, the Director of theUAE Red Crescent Mohammad al-Kotobi confirmed that the support of the UAE, via the Crescent, will continue for alleviating suffering of the Yemeni people, noting to other projects they will provide in different governorates.
