Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

SJC approves reshuffle in Abyan courts, prosecutions

The Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) has approved keeping courts and prosecutions in the Capital Sana'a and in governorates of Jawf, Amran, Sa'ada, Hodeida, Mahweet, Raima, Dhamar, Baidha and Ibb on their status quo without changes.

Presided over by the Head of the SJC Judge Ali Nasser Salem and held on Tuesday, the meeting canceled appointment at Sana'a specialized court and penal court and approved judiciary reshuffle in courts and prosecutions in Abyan.

The meeting reviewed reports from the Head of Abyan's Court of Appeal Judge Qaiser Aidrus and acting Appeal Prosecution Abu Bakr al-Shaq'a over conditions and prosecutions in the governorate, as well as the project of replacing and appointing judges and prosecutors.

The meeting approved reshuffle in the Court of Appeal, primary courts and prosecutions in different districts.
