Oil minister says gov't committed to resolving Aden refinery issues

Yemen's Minister of Oil and MineralsEng. Sayf Ashareef said on Wednesday that the government is committed to resolving any difficulties preventing Aden Refinery from return to full scale operation mode.

During a chat with the Refinery officials the minister briefed on what the government is doing to secure an uninterrupted supply of crude oil to keep the refinery production units operative.

He said the government is working to resolve the financial and logistical problems the Refinery is facing. He praised the Refinery staff for safeguarding the assets of their company from stealing during the Saleh-Houthi militias' war in Aden.

The Refinery staff presented to the minister notes and proposals for bringing the production back to the pre-war level.
