ICRC Delegate visits Taiz Cancer Center

The Delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross Stephanie Eller visited Sunday the National Corporation for Combating Cancer Taiz Center where she was acquainted with the ongoing work at the center and services it provides under these exceptional conditions in Taiz.

Eller was briefed by the Director of the Corporation on obstacles faced by the center since the beginning of Houthi-Saleh militias' war on Taiz city to the forcibly pause and ending to transfer into a transitional building so that the center could provide its services.

Present and imminent requirements for the center, which provides medical services to more than 6 thousand patients, were discussed.

Eller promised to carry suffering of cancer patients to international bodies and organizations.
