Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Yemen's Prime Minister Ahmed bin-Daghr said "we offered a lot of concessions, yet we faced intransigence and rejection (of peace) from the rebels."
In a visit and an address he to the army fighters in Karesh warfront in Lahj this early morning, the premier said the rebels had rejected the UN's latest proposal to hand over the Hodeidah seaport to a neutral party, contrary to the government's acceptance prompted by the desire to alleviate the humanitarian suffering.
The premier, in his visit, was received by the governor of Lahj Dr. Naser Al-Khabji the commander of the fourth Military Region Maj.
General Fadhl Hassan, the commander of the Coalition Forces Ahmed Abu Majed and senior Arab coalition and Yemeni military commanders.
The premier said the restoration of the state, defeat of the rebel/coup militias and other terrorist organizations are top government priorities realizable by hand in hand work under the leadership of President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The premier expressed his thanks to the Arab coalition countries for helping Yemen put down the coup.
Special thanks were offered to Saudi Arabia represented by its King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the United Arab Emirate, the UAE represented by its president His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, the Vice President, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Force, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
He also thanked other Arab countries participating in the fight against the rebels.
"Victories will be crowned with the restoration of the capital city, Sana'a from the militias, by peace or war," bin-Daghr said.
