Cabinet examines local developments and efforts to address them

In its weekly meeting in Aden today, the Cabinet has examined the latest local developments and the government's efforts to address them according to the degree of priority.

The topics included the need to multiply the efforts of restoring services and security status back to normal in the government-held areas.

The Cabinet hailed the streak of gains the army is achieving against the rebels and the UN moves to push for peace despite the rebel militias' persistent obstruction of any efforts to end the bloodshed.

The Cabinet noted that the militias' pressing ahead with war in disregard to the spill of Yemeni blood and mounting suffering of Yemenis highlights to the international community with the government always said; that the decision of the Iran-aligned gang is not in its hands.

The Cabinet indicated that while its very keen to secure a lasting justice peace , it will not continue to put up with the rebels' obstinacy and foot-dragging forever.

The Cabinet thanked the Saudi-led Arab coalition for their military support to Yemen on humanitarian, relief, economic and military level.
