The meeting addressed the situations in Yemen against the backdrop of coup.
The vice president updated the visiting officials about the government's efforts for peace and the concessions offered in the different consultations for peace versus the militias' obstinacy and insistence on bloodshed and looting of the state revenues and public and private properties.
The vice president underlined that the end to this conflict lies in a settlement that rests on the three terms of reference for peace; the GCC brokered initiative, the National Dailogue outcomes and the UNSC resolution 2216.
