Arab coalition committed to easing relief organizations' work

The Arab coalition backing Yemen's government has confirmed that it is committed to easing the humanitarian and relief operations by international organizations.

In a statement issued today, the coalition's leadership said: "We are working to facilitate the operations of all the international humanitarian and relief organizations in order to ensure aid outreach to all Yemen's people. (That comes) through prompt and effective actions within this framework, including instant deciding on humanitarian organizations' applications in no contradiction to the international laws."

The statement made clear that the coalition's evacuation and humanitarian operations team has issued 6825 permits since the launch of the Decisive Storm Operation.

Of those permits, 3214 were for aerial delivery, 2467 for sea, 1144 for land.

The statement reiterated commitment to supporting the Yemeni people as part of the Hope Restoration operation conducted via King Salman Relief Center in Yemen and Yemenis' other places of in neighboring countries.

The statement warned again of the Saleh—Houthimilitias'dangerous practices in impeding the delivery of relief aid to areas under their control. It also warned of the militias' attacks of the seaports which receive aid shipments.

The statement called on the international community to press the coup party to accept peace and security in line with the relevant international resolutions especially UNSC resolution 2216.
