The National Committee for Investigation into Human Rights Violations has refused the inclusion of its name as a participant with the panel involved in fact-finding about alleged secret prions in Hadhramout.
The committee denied its participation in this activity and said it wishes that the NGOs do their job professionally and not to include its name without its knowledge in such statements.
In its own statement to Saba, the committee said it never participated in any field visits to prisons or other such activities.
The committee said it exercises its functions of investigating alleged human rights violations pursuant to the resolution of its own establishment no. 140 for 2012.
