Shelter assistances distributed in southern governorates

Local Administration Minister Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah on Sunday launched a project of distributing shelter aids (Ewa) in the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Hadramout.

The project, which is adopted by al-Khair Alliance organization and backed by King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, aims at alleviating the suffering of Yemeni displaced persons.

Fatah stressed the importance of local and international collaboration to combat cholera epidemic through providing urgent aids, hailing efforts of Salman King Center which allocated $8 million to control cholera in the first phase and $66,700,000 for the second phase.

For his part, the director of Salman Center in Aden Saleh al-Debani said that Ewa project aims to distribute housing assistances in the western coast of Yemen, pointing out that it targets 3,000 destitute families.
