Aden has response plan to control cholera, Health Minister says

Yemen's Health Minister Nasser Baoum has said that there is a swift response plan aiming at controlling the outbreak of cholera in the target areas of Aden.

In a meeting held Sunday in Aden with physicians and officials, Baoum spelt out that his ministry will intensify cooperation with local and international partners to combat and control cholera in Yemen.

For his part, Local Administration Minister Abdul-Raqeeb Fatah cited that the meeting was an opportunity to present proposals by specialists to combat and control cholera in districts of Aden, noting that a number of projects aiming at controlling cholera will be implemented during next days.
