The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

The Arab Parliament speaker Mishaal al-Salami has renewed support to the Arab coalition's backing of the legitimate Yemeni state, headed by President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
Opening the parliament's sixth session, al-Salami said the political resolution is the most feasible for the Arab world crises beginning from Syria to the developments in Yemen, Iraq, Libya and Somalia.
The speaker called on Iran to end its occupation of the three Emirati islands, hostile remarks against Bahrain and Yemen and military intervention in Syria.
He expressed full support to what the Arab states do to maintain their security and stability.
He also called on the Arabs to address all the controversial issues between their states in a transparent manner and to give precedence to the pan-Arab interests through unifying ranks and countering extremism backer counties.
He also affirmed the importance of standing in the face of external interventions and against all attempts to divide the ranks.
