The Security Committee of Shabwah has welcomed the recent appointment of a new governor for the province by presidential resolution.
In a meeting chaired by the deputy governor Mohammed bin Adiwow, the Committee hailed the appointment of Ali bin
Rashed al-Harithi as a governor for Shabwa and the appointment of two other governors for two other southern provinces.
The Committee valued the political party's rejection of the suspicious elements who seek to destabilize the province.
Two days ago, a presidential advisor representing the Southern Peaceful Movement, Yaseen Makkawi welcomed the replacement of the old governors. He said: "With all pleasure and appreciation the Southern Political Movement stakeholder received the presidential resolutions to tackle the irregularities caused by the political schizophrenics who had been holding the positions of governors."
