PM inaugurates graffiti commemorating martyred liberators of Aden

Yemen's Prime Minister and Aden governor inaugurated here today the third stage of a graffiti themed "Martyrs Don't Die", a token of remembrance of the martyrs' who died to liberate Aden from the Saleh-Houthi coup militia in 2014. It is the second anniversary of liberation now.

The art was painted on the walls of the Aden governor's office, as part of the campaigns "Thank You Kingdom of Firmness" and "Thank You Good UAE".

"We are paying tributes to the martyrs of Yemen and martyrs from the Arab coalition who offered their souls to defend
Yemen and our security and dignity and liberate Aden and other provinces from the militia's aggression," said bin-Daghr as he drew aside the curtains in formal opening of the art work.

"As we commemorate the second anniversary of Aden's liberation, we affirm that Aden will be paid much attention to by the political leadership represented by H.E the President of the Republic. (We also affirm that) the development process has started on a gradual pace in Aden, and hopefully, all liberated provinces will enjoy wellbeing and prosperity."

"This drawing is of faces that protected the city and offered their souls for it. Their sacrifices paved the way to victory and outlined its features," he said.

The artists behind the work are three siblings Abeed Mohammed Ba-Abeed and his two sisters Samar and Shada.
