The UAE Red Crescent in coordination with the Protection of and Development of Society Advocates org, launched today a project for distributing Eid clothes to 750 children in Aden's different districts.
The Director General of Seera district, Khaled Seedo, thanked the UAE and its' Red Crescent for their humanitarian aid to the destitute people, mainly the most impoverished segment of the people in Aden, Yemen's temporary capital.
"Such charitable acts bring smile to the faces of destitute children," he said.
The UAE Red Crescent's supervisor Ayesha Taleb said the Eid clothes distribution is part of the Red Crescent's program for delivering main humanitarian and charitable aid to the poor households who exercise restraint [don't beg] and to the orphan kids to make them happy.
