Yemen's Human Rights Minister and the Netherland's permanent envoy to the UN discussed the prospects of Dutch technical support to Yemen's National Investigative Committee into Human Rights Abuse Claims.
In a conversation they held yesterday on the sideline of the UN Human Rights Council's 35th Session in Geneva, minister Mohammed Askar and Monique Van Daalen reviewed the status of human rights in Yemen and preparations for the 36th session scheduled for next September.
The meeting was attended by the head of Yemen's diplomatic mission to Geneva, ambassador Mohammed al-Fakmi.
