A couple of days ago, the United Arab Emirate's Red Crescent launched a food aid program in Radhoom, Shabwah, as part of a larger Ramadan humanitarian campaign that covers Hadhramout, Shabwa and Marib.
The program targets the most impoverished to ease their economic hardships, caused by the Saleh-Houthi coup militia's war in the country, said the head of the Red Crescent's team.
The Red Crescent's relief activities aid are not limited to provision of foodstuff aid, he said, but include "health care, medications and medical equipment, electricity, water and others."
