Riyadh (Saba)- Vice President Ali Muhsin Saleh on Monday met here with the US Ambassador to Yemen Matthew Tuller, discussing aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the United States in fighting terrorism as well as Yemen's updates.
The vice president reiterated his condemnation of the attack on the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Esmail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, pointing out that the Houthi-Saleh militias always work to impede peace, continues in shedding blood of Yemenis and threatens international peace and security.
He referred to crimes committed against Yemenis by the Houthi-Saleh militias, emphasizing that the legitimate government backed by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition does best to bring security, stability and peace to Yemen, and terminate the suffering of the Yemenis.
Saleh further affirmed that that legitimate government exerts efforts to restore the state and fight terrorism and extremism, valuing friendly relations and coordination in fighting violence and extremism.
For his part, Tuller underlined his country's commitment to realize peace and willingness to cooperate in fighting terrorism.
