Yemen's Vice President Gen. Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar emphasized on local authorities to maintain a closer and more serious outreach the citizens afflicted by the Saleh-Houthi militia's coup.
The vice president laid that emphasis in a meeting today with Taiz governor Ali al-Maamari and Amran governor Abdurahman Al-Saar .
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the city of Taiz where the army and the people are struggling bravely and heroically to break the coup militias' longstanding siege around the city.
The meeting addressed the various non-stopping violations of the Saleh-Houthi militia against the city, including murders, intimidation, looting of public funds and destruction of public institutions.
VP Al-Ahma said the government, with the Arab coalition's support, is determined to restore the state and fulfill the people's aspirations for security, stability and development.
