King Salman Center launches a food aid program in Hadhramout

RIYADH-SABA

King Salman's Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSrelief) has launched a food aid program that aims to, ultimately, distribute 50 thousand food baskets to 300 thousand persons in 16 districts in Wadi Hadhramout and to IDPs in al-Abr.

Receiving the good news of the program's launch, the targeted beneficiaries expressed thanks and high appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its king, government and people for this aid.

KSrelief has inaugurated a number of aid programs in Yemen. One program tackles malnutrition among children, and pregnant and nursing mothers. Another ensures the supply of clean drinking water and environmental sanitation.

Just on Saturday, a convoy of 26 lorries, out of 36, has already arrived in Marib laden with 20,900 as a humanitarian aid offered by KSrelief to the people of Marib, the IDPs in the province and the families of martyrs.
