Yemen's Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Ahmad Atiyah, ordered the ministry's branch offices to strive more and more in promoting the values of moderation and tolerance in mosques during the holy month of Ramadan.
Dr. Atiyah told Saba that he has circulated a call to all his ministry's branch offices and mosque preachers to spread the message of affection, mercy for the poor and alleviation of the people's miseries arising from the country's current circumstances.
Dr. Atiyah highlighted the need to call the young to moderation and cooperation with the state in identifying any terror elements. The minister asked the heads of Endowment offices to make sure that mosques are kept clear from political, regional and sectarian tensions and disputes.
Dr. Atiyah stressed the imperative of standing behind the head of state, Abdo Rabbo Masnour Hadi, and supporting the government's efforts to bring the liberated areas back to peace under state control.
