PM orders paying USD 10 million for Hadhramout power

Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin Daghr ordered Saturday paying USD 10 million to the Oil Company's Account for buying fuel to Hadhramout's power generating plants.
Up to USD 10 million have been transferred for buying fuel for increasing operational hours of Hadhramout's plants to face power shortage, a government source told Saba.
The source added that the orders of the Prime Minister comes in response to directives of President Hadi on quickly providing fuel to power transferring stations in Hadhramout and for updating plants in other governorates and reporting on necessary requirements for increasing generating outputs.
Aden power will witness increase of operational hours during the forthcoming few days and that the key generating plant will be supplied with additional 150 MW to tackle output shortage, the source confirmed.
