Riyadh (Saba)- Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid Bin Daghar on Monday discussed here with Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dedushkin Yemen's developments and international attempts made to move forward the political process.
They also discussed the Houthi-Saleh militias' intransigence and rejection to positively deal with any peace efforts.
The meeting also touched on with the Russian roles of putting pressures on the militias in order to accept the terms of reference which includes the GCC-brokered Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
They also dealt with Yemen's dire humanitarian situations, mounting suffering of Yemenis as well as mutual and historical relations between Yemen and Russia and how to enhance them in different fields.
The Russian Ambassador reiterated his country's firm positions supporting Yemen's legitimacy, security, stability and unity, emphasizing that the Yemeni people is united in their history and culture.
Dedushkin stressed that Russia is keen to put an end to the suffering of Yemenis, signaling out that his country also supports the international consensus on the political solution in Yemen.
Bin Daghar highly valued the Russian stances backing the legitimate government, indicating that the de-legitimization of the Houthi-Saleh coup is in favor of the international community and not in favor of Yemenis alone.
