Riyadh, (Saba)- Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Ibtihal al-Kamal discussed Tuesday with Representative of UNICEF in Yemen Meritxell Relaño the process of implementing the organization's projects in Yemeni governorates.
The meeting tackled also a number of projects including awareness on mine dangers, war aftermaths and issuing birth certificates to all society categories, physical and social protection project, environment projects and other key projects.
Al-Kamal talked about providing projects dealing with children and children drop out from schools, as well as providing psychological rehabilitation to this important category, confirming that humanitarian conditions in Yemen need integration of organizations' efforts to overcome suffering the people.
She demanded from the organization representative to activate its office in Aden to ease its work and avoid any fault in implementing its projects. She valued the organizations' projects in Yemen.
She also demanded setting up training programs to beneficiaries of social care fund and a number of projects for qualifying cadre of the ministry's funds.
For her part, Milano clarified that the organization has carried out a number of projects in Yemen and distributed sums of money to beneficiaries of the social care program in cooperation with Yemen's government and the World Bank, noting that the organization is preparing to implement a number of projects in the near future.
