Aden (Saba)-Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Hussein Arab on Tuesday discussed with Peter Rice, the representative of the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Esmail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, Yemen's political development, humanitarian situation and living conditions in the temporary capital of Aden.
He lauded great efforts exerted by Ould Cheikh Ahmed, affirming that the Yemeni crisis could be only resolved through the basic terms of references; the GCC-mediated Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
Rice also presented an overview about the possibilities of providing humanitarian assistances, highly valuing the cooperation of the Yemeni government.
