Riyadh (Saba)- Oman's Foreign Minister Yusuf Bin Alawi has reaffirmed his country's support for Yemen's legitimate government and any efforts aiming at ensuring Yemen's security, stability, unity and sovereignty.
In a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mikhafi, Bin Alawi expressed pride over the levels of Yemeni-Omani historical and social bonds between Yemen and Oman.
Al-Mikhlafi lauded the distinguished relations between Yemen and Oman as well as Oman's attitudes supporting the Yemeni people and its rights to live in peace.
He pointed out that the war agitated by the Houthi-Saleh militias must be resolved in the basis of the basic terms of reference which includes the GCC-mediated Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
He stressed the importance of supporting the Yemeni legitimate government led by President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi to develop bilateral relations between Yemen and Oman in different areas, and enhance the levels of consultation and cooperation.
