Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

GCC renews support to Yemen's unity

Riyadh, (Saba) -
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has renewed the organization's firm attitudes on supporting the unity and sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen and protecting its security and stability.
In a press release issued Friday, the GCC renewed also support to the United Nations' efforts for a peaceful solution to Yemen's crisis in accordance with the Gulf Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
"The countries of the council call all Yemeni people factions in this critical stage of Yemen's history to discard calls of split and separation, gather around the legitimacy to implement the rule of law and its sovereignty and regaining security and stability across Yemen," said the Secretary General of the GCC Abdullatif al-Zayyani.
When order is regained, added al-Zayyani, the brother Yemeni people can complete implementation of the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, which solved all Yemen's issues, including Southern Issue.
He confirmed that all moves to solve the southern issue must be done through Yemeni legitimacy and consistency stipulated by the dialogue's outcomes.
