Aden, (Saba) - The Yemeni Coalition for Counting Human Rights Violations in Yemen has warned of implementing the death sentence against Journalist Yahya Abdul-Raqib al-Jubaihi and his colleagues.
The coalition expressed its strongest denouncement over the illegal verdict issued by Houthi-Saleh's rebels against al-Jubaihi, 63, who has been kidnaped since last September, said the coalition in a release issued Thursday.
"The verdict issued against Jubaihi was based on false and malicious accusations concerning his work," according to the release.
The verdict aims at more curb and and shackle freedom of speech and plotting against journalists for executing them if they contradict the militias' opinion or uncover their practices in their- held areas, added the release
The release also condemned suing other 36 journalists, the militias started suing them comically after torturing them savagely.
The coalition demanded the International Community to denounce militias' criminal acts of kidnapping and horrifying citizens and torturing kidnapped people as well as having illegal detentions and prosecutions.
It also called for serious action to stop increasing violence against journalists and human rights advocates in Yemen.
