Riyadh (Saba)- Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid Bin Daghar on Wednesday met here the Japanese Ambassador to Yemen Katsu Yoshie Hayashi, discussing Yemen's updates as well as bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, Yemen and Japan.
He pointed out that Yemen will overcome all over challenges and difficulties caused by the Houthi-Saleh militias' war.
Prime Minister highly valued Japanese support to Yemen, reiterating that Japan provided various assistances to Yemenis, alleviating their suffering and contributed in maintaining the electricity station in al-Mansourah of Aden.
He also noted that peace will be only realized if its reasons are tackled, making clear that the Houthi-Saleh militias carried out a coup against the elected president and the legitimate government and worsened the suffering of Yemenis.
For his part, the Japanese Ambassador lauded efforts of the Yemeni government in supplying services to Yemenis, stressing that Japan does best to support Yemen under current conditions.
He noted that Japan provided to Yemen about $85 million as an urgent assistance to the Yemeni people, indicating that Japan looks forward to bring lasting peace and stability to Yemen.
