UN Humanitarian Coordinator visits Taiz

Taiz (Saba)- United Nations Resident Humanitarian Coordinator and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Representative for Yemen Jamie McGoldrick on Sunday visited the city of Taiz to see the humanitarian situation which was worsened by the war.

Accompanied by Deputy Governor of Taiz Rashad al-Akhali, McGoldrick inspected some neighborhoods which were destroyed and damaged by the Houthi-Saleh's unjust war on the city.

He also made a visit to the Swedish Hospital and al-Thawrah Hospital and was briefed on the damage they were subjected to by the Houthi-Saleh militias.

In the conclusion of his visit, he held a press conference in which he made clear that the United Nations exerts efforts to find safe and bypass roads to deliver humanitarian and relief to the people of the city.
