PM bin Daghr, al-Akimi discuss military operations in Jawf

Riyadh, (Saba)- Prime Minister Ahmad Ubaid bin Daghr and Governor of Jawf Amin al-Akimi discussed Saturday here the ongoing military operations in the governorate and development and service projects it needs.

Bin Daghr was briefed by al-Akimi on efforts exerted by local authority in Jawf, like restoring order and tightening security and stability, as well as re-opening the state's institutions in liberated areas in the governorate.

The people of Jawf have had the lead in toppling Imamate project renewed by Houthi militias, said bin Daghr. With the help of the national army, they were able to retake more than 80 percent of the governorate.

For his part, Governor al-Akimi thanked the prime minister for his concerns over the government's issues and for his understanding to respond to its demands.
