Yemen's development needs to be discussed in Riyadh

Riyadh (Saba)- The Joint Committee for Identifying Yemen's Development needs is to hold its 18th meeting in the GCC headquarters in Riyadh.
A number of Yemeni ministries, authorities, representatives of the GCC states and their development funds will take part in the meeting.
The meeting will discuss a number of issues including the fund of project development by the GCC states and their development funds.
It will also deal with mechanisms of funding Yemen's Social Fund for Development, public works programs as well as the review of the general framework reconstruction and development program prepared by the Higher Committee for Reconstruction.
GCC Assistant Secretary General for Political and Negotiations Affairs Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Owaisheqexplained that this meeting comes in the framework of efforts exerted by the GCC states and their development funds to deliver development and humanitarian assistances to all Yemeni areas.
He also citied that it will touch on the arrangement for an international conference for reconstruction and development of Yemen, pointing out that a practical program will be prepared for rehabilitating the Yemeni economy and facilitate its integration in the GCC economies.
