Chairman of Shoura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr received Sunday Minister of State for the Parliament and Shoura Council's Affairs Dr. Abdullah Abu Huriya, discussing with him developments in the political, economic, and humanitarian situation in the country.

They also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the government and legislative institutions during the current phase.

During the meeting, a number of priority issues were discussed led by the government’s efforts to improve economic and administrative performance, address service and living challenges facing citizens, and the importance of continuing institutional reforms, developing public financial management mechanisms, and strengthening principles of transparency and accountability.
