The Minister of Finance Marwan bin Ghanem met Tuesday with the French Ambassador to Yemen Catherine Corm-Kammoun.
He discussed with her ways to strengthen economic and development cooperation, capacity building, and staff training.
Minister bin Ghanem highlighted the government’s priorities in achieving economic recovery and comprehensive development, in line with the directives of the Presidential Leadership Council.
He emphasized the importance of continued regional and international support for the government’s efforts to implement economic, financial and administrative reforms.
The Minister praised France’s support to Yemen across various sectors, stressing the importance of sustaining assistance aimed at improving overall conditions and achieving stability and recovery of the national economy, particularly in the economic and service sectors.
For her part, the French Ambassador reaffirmed her country’s full support for the Yemeni government in economic and service areas.
She reiterated her government’s commitment to continuing its support for Yemen and its state institutions in a way that contributes to achieving economic and development aspirations.
