King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen, known as "MASAM" managed to remove 1,765 of landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED) in the last week February 2026.
All of the landmines were planted randomly by the terrorist Houthi militias in different governorates.
The Center reported that 13 anti-personnel and 5 anti-tank landmines , 1,745 UXO and two IED were removed, bringing the total number of mines, UXO and IED removed in February to 8,447.
It is important to note that MASAM removed 545,952 of landmines, UXO and IED since it has started its demining mission in 2018.
