International Association (Al-Ameen) Provides over 9,000 Medical Services During January 2026

The International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims (Al-Ameen) has provided more than 9,000 specialized medical services during January 2026.
These services covered prosthetics, orthotic devices, maintenance, physiotherapy sessions and specialized consultations, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and Population and with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
Dr. Mohammed Darba, the Association’s Regional Director, told (Saba) that the organization implemented a comprehensive package of quality health and humanitarian services.
These included prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, dialysis, and auditory and speech rehabilitation, in coordination with the Therapeutic Medicine Sector.
The Association also continued operating prosthetics and rehabilitation projects through four specialized centers in the governorates of Aden, Taiz, Seiyun, and Marib.
He noted the continued operation of the dialysis center in Al-Ghaydah District, al-Mahrah Governorate, where 1,972 health services were provided, including dialysis sessions and specialized services, helping ease the health and financial burdens on patients and their families.
Dr. Darba further highlighted the ongoing provision of auditory and speech rehabilitation services for children in Seiyun, Hadramout Governorate, and Marib through specialized centers.
A total of 119 children benefited from more than 800 services, including specialized consultations, rehabilitation sessions, and hearing aid maintenance.
He affirmed that these projects reflect the Association’s commitment, along with its partners, to supporting the health sector and strengthening specialized care services for the most vulnerable groups. He praised the support provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the continued cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health and Population, which contributes to improving the quality of healthcare services and enhancing the resilience of the health system across various governorates.
