A rights organization, "Dey Munt," has documented 382 violations committed by the Iran-backed Houthi militia against lawyers in Sanaa from January 2023 to December 2025.

The report, presented at a conference in Marib, highlights the escalating attacks on lawyers, with 159 violations in 2025, 135 in 2023, and 88 in 2024. The group condemns the systematic targeting of legal professionals, undermining justice and the rule of law in Houthi-controlled areas.

Speakers emphasized that these attacks constitute a direct assault on justice and fair trial guarantees, calling for the release of detained lawyers, including Abdulmajid Sabra, and an end to persecution.

The event urged international bodies to document these violations and push for accountability.
