Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Abdulrahman al-Muharrami, met on Saturday with Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mokhtar al-Yafei to review the ministry’s conditions and discuss ways to enhance its institutional performance and improve services provided to the most vulnerable groups, particularly in social welfare and labor market regulation.
At the outset of the meeting, al-Muharrami congratulated the minister on gaining the confidence of the leadership and wished him success in his duties, underscoring the ministry’s vital role in strengthening the social protection system, especially amid current challenges that require effective institutional action to meet citizens’ needs efficiently and responsibly.
The discussions also addressed the ministry’s future plans and programs, including efforts to strengthen partnerships with local and international organizations to improve humanitarian response. In this context, al-Muharrami stressed the importance of intensifying efforts and accelerating performance to keep pace with economic and social challenges, ensuring tangible and sustainable improvements in citizens’ lives across liberated governorates.
He further emphasized the need to enhance coordination and integration among relevant stakeholders and activate monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to improve efficiency.
